Photo AlbumDiscovering the hidden beauty of Lulu IslandApr 23, '07 9:54 AM
for everyone
Lulu island is located just opposite the corniche of Abu Dhabi. Wherever you will see the gigantic photo of our beloved Sheikh Zayed and his son along corniche, thats it! An easy way to go there is taking a ferry boat beside the heritage village, no fare needed just get in the boat and enjoy the 3 minutes ride going to the island. Just after u hop in the island, a security guard will tell you where to pay the 15 dirhams entrance fee that includes the bus that will drop you wherever u want, the camel and horse riding, use of the beach, cottages, and other amenities you will see there. An additional charge for the train if u will use it as an access to the island, however, we were so unlucky not to experience that since they didnt open on sunday. Below 5 years old is excluded of the entrance fee. And If ever u are fond of scuba diving and just simply sun bathing bring your swimming clothes for you to enjoy. Oh, dont forget some food and beverages for the canteen is somewhere to be found... hehehehe...

ann, we will be going tom pm and will stay all night long in hatta dessert, the following day to dubai and will go directly to marfa. i may say, from east to west ang trip namin with the marfa hospital staff and some other friends of them na di ko kilala hehehhe... sampid lang ako huhuhu.... i want you to come, but pls dont go kasi wawa naman si glenda. she's inviting for her post wedding party, a picnic on friday at corniche starts 4-5pm (guess same place where my bday party was). yet, that party still to be confirmed with her maybe she will change it again.
