my journey...

Photo AlbumIt's worth waiting for...Nov 14, '07 8:19 PM
for everyone
It was one boring morning of my July vacation in Manila that I spotted a small flower garden adjacent to my kuya’s house. With my small Nikon camera I headed to the garden and was surprised for the number of flies scattered all over the small unfamiliar tiny flowers. I started taking photos but not good enough, again I tried more… unaware that it was already 12 noon with every inch of my body sweating under the heat of the sun…
Ynnad is right when he told that Patience is a virtue…

Very impressive shot Grazie. Each time you post, you always come up with something better than the last. This one shows improvement on your skills. I would assume that this was taken with the kit lens. At first glance, it looks like you used a true macro lens. The bees came out sharp. I suggest that you post your exif data along with your photos so it will be easy reference if there should be any correction needed to suggest. What kind of editing software do you use?

*The picture vibrates my imagination...wow! Kudos!...
*The pic tickles me to believe that the strongest person in the world is he/she who stands most alone... no matter what happens... no matter what intensity of destruction... you're still there... and that's you day Grace...
* More so, the pic realizes me of what Martin Luther King Jr said that the ultimate measure of a man/woman is not where he stands in moments of convenience; but where he stand at times of challenge and controversy...

Thanks for the suggestion John... This photo was taken aproximately with 45-55mm f/3.5-5.6 DX Zoom Nikkor lens. It is 50% cropped with some adjustment of the color to make it sharp since there was too much light from the sun. I'm only using microsoft office picture editor.
